Sherry

Meet Sherry, an energetic and affectionate young girl. She’s a playful, loving dog with lots of potential, but she does need a dedicated and patient owner who can help her grow into the confident and well-balanced companion. It would be beneficial for owners to have experience with Collie’s or other working, high energy, intelligent breeds. Sherry struggles with being left alone for extended periods. She will need an owner who can work with her gradually, building up the time she’s left alone. If you work from home, be prepared for a lot of management and training to help her settle, patience will be key. While Sherry is affectionate, she enjoys it on her own terms. She’ll settle for a fuss occasionally but is more interested in playing and training with her owner. She’ll thrive with in an active home with owner who are keen to do lots of training with her and can offer lots of interactive play, toys (soft toys are her favourite), and mental stimulation.
Due to her age, we are looking to have her rehomed as soon as possible so please do get in touch if you feel you could offer Sherry a home. If you are registered, give us a call on 01225 787331. If you are not registered, you are welcome to apply but please bear in mind that we reserve the right to rehome her to the most suitable match as quickly as possible to reduce her stay in the kennel.
