Cindy is a sweet and affectionate Labrador x Shar Pei who’s looking for a calm and loving home to spend her golden years. Cindy is affectionate and loving and loves being close to her people and would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time—perfect for someone who works from home or enjoys a quieter lifestyle. In her previous home, Cindy was housetrained and had a lovely way of spinning to let you know when she needed to go out. She slept peacefully on the floor of her owner's bedroom and was happy being left for a couple of hours once settled, though shorter absences would be ideal at first while she adjusts to her new surroundings. Cindy travels well in the car, walks beautifully on lead, and responds well to her name on walks.
Due to her age, she’ll do best with sensible, steady exercise and strolls in quieter areas where she can enjoy her surroundings without too many distractions. She can be nervous around small breed dogs and will try to avoid them, so is ideally looking for walks in places where you can give her space from other dogs when needed. Cindy prefers her own company when it comes to other dogs and would be happiest as the only pet in the home and no regular visiting canines.
Cindy has so much love to give and just needs a calm, reassuring environment where she can feel safe and cherished. If you have a quiet home and a big heart, Cindy could be your perfect match.

Meeting and greeting other dogs
Most dogs want to meet others and it is important for them to have the opportunity to display their natural social behaviours and improve their doggie greetings.
