Looking for summer activities for the kids? They could be a fundraising superhero!
Our Young Fundraiser Challenge is the perfect way to fill those summer days, as kids find their own way to help raise money for rescue cats and dogs.
Three young supporters have already started their challenge – Alex, Harry and James live locally to the rehoming centre and are keen animal lovers. Alex and Harry ran a stall outside Alex’s house selling homemade lemonade, cookies and doughnuts and raised an impressive £91.
They also donated forty old tennis balls for the dogs to play with and Alex donated some toys paid for with his pocket money. Next up, James is planning a sponsored silence (good luck James!). We’ve been really touched by their enthusiasm and kindness.
Junior fundraisers who raise money for the charity in the Young Fundraisers Challenge will receive a certificate for their hard work. If they manage to raise £150 they will also receive a special embroidered badge.
