We need your online vote to win a prize of £5000!

Movement for Good is an annual gift to animal and wildlife charities, where public votes are put into a draw to win one of ten £5000 prizes. The more votes we have in the draw, the better the odds!

How to vote

Use our voting button above to get to their website to vote, as it is pre-filled with our name.

We are in the draw under our charity number 205594 and our full, and very formal, name Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Bath and District Branch - this does look confusing as you can only see the beginning of the name, but it definitely is for Bath Cats and Dogs Home!

What £5000 would mean to us

We’ve just rehomed a litter of abandoned puppies…

Litter of puppies

Super cute, right? But also expensive! They were here for 36 days and needed 24-hour monitoring, toy and puppy essentials, and their food bill was a whopping £800!

Our team wear PPE with the youngest ones – disposable gloves, foot covers and over suits to protect the puppies’ young immune systems from outside germs and nasties.

Talking of health – they each went to five vet check-ups (especially as some of them had mange), and had vaccines, microchip, flea and worm treatment. They’ll be back when they are older to be neutered.

In total, that adds up to about £5000. They were adopted for £300 adoption fee each which was £1800 - which really helps but you can see doesn’t cover it.

Last year we had 46 puppies in, and we’ll expect about the same again this year. This vote you will give? It will help us be ready for the next litter.
