Cattery volunteers wanted

Charity news

Experienced cat owners wanted, for a weekly role

Acorn (pictured above) came from a hoarding situation, which would have been incredibly stressful for him. Being in our cattery is really his first chance to shine and discover his own likes and dislikes. Being outside of his hidey holes with us around is a huge moment of trust for him, and we have seen him wanting to play as well – it is delightful!

But is isn't just our staff who are helping him on his journey to adoption – dedicated cattery volunteers have spent time with him as well and we are pleased to say that we have space to welcome more volunteers into the cattery.

It is a physically demanding job, with lots of cleaning duties, but also very rewarding to see cats like Acorn blossom.
