Adopted story: Jonboy

Dogs, Rehabilitate

Jonboy popped back for a vet check up, and to say hello!

Jonboy was one of our first animals into the vet suite in 2022. He had a huge abscess on his left cheek from scratching because of an untreated allergy. It needed daily cleaning and care for several months.

For animals with long term medical care we can sometimes offer post-adoption check ups to make sure their condition is stable, so Jonboy popped back this week to visit the vet suite. You can see he is doing really well!

Pictured above, during his visit this week and below, during one of his cleaning sessions in early 2022 where we had to drain fluid from his abscess.

We have seen an increased need for medical rehabilitation this year, and our Winter Appeal focuses on some of the animals you have helped because of your support – read more on this blog.
