Liliana

Meet Liliana, our shy girl who is looking for a calm home to slowly settle in to at her own pace. She currently spends most of her time hidden away, watching the world from a safe distance. In the cattery environment, new people and unfamiliar surroundings are a lot for Liliana to process. She hasn’t shown an interest in interacting with people, and right now, she prefers her own company. That said, with time, patience, and a home where she can feel truly safe, there is hope that Liliana will gradually build trust in humans on her own terms. Liliana needs an experienced, adult-only home with a calm and quiet atmosphere. She will require a dedicated spare room to settle in initially – this safe space will be vital for her adjustment. She should not be given access to the rest of the home until she is confidently and calmly exploring the safe room with her new owner present, as expanding her world too soon may set her back significantly. She is a very independent cat and may always prefer to coexist quietly rather than become an affectionate cat – but for the right person, helping a cat like Liliana settle into a home can be deeply rewarding.
